Education : 

• Senior Scientists - The Candidate should have completed Ph.D in Organic/Physical Chemistry/ Electrochemistry/Chemical Engineering / Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering. With 2 years of Postdoctoral Experience for Ph.D in Science.
• Scientists - The Candidate should have completed Ph.D (submitted thesis) in Chemistry / Electrochemistry / Physical Chemistry / Materials Science / polymer chemistry / Polymer Physics / Polymer Technology / Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering / Material Science and Engineering
• Technical Assistants - The Candidate should have completed Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication/electronics & Instrumentation Engg. With one year experience in relevant field.

Pay / Salary :

•  Senior  Scientists -The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade pay of Rs.7600/- per month.
• Scientists-The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade pay of Rs.6600/- per month.
• Technical Assistants - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 (PB-2) + Grade pay of  Rs.4200 /- per month.

Age :

•  Senior Scientists - The lower age limit shall be 18 years and upper age limit shall be 37 years.
• Scientists - The lower age limit shall be 18 years and upper age limit shall be 32 years.
• Technical Assistants - The lower age limit shall be 18 years and upper age limit shall be 28 years.
