It was incorporated as a public sector enterprise of the Ministry of Mines, Government of India in 1981.The main units of NALCO are at Damanjodi (Mines & Refinery complex) and Nalconagar, Angul (Smelter & Power Plant Complex). The Bauxite mines called "Panchpatmalli Mines" is situated atop a set of five mountains called Panchpatmalli. Education :  The Candidate should have completed Degree or Diploma in Mining  Engineering/MBBS/BDS/Post Graduate Degree in Hindi from recognized Institute/Board.

Pay / Salary :  

• Dy.General Manager (E7) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.51300-73000/-  per month. 
• Assistant General Manager (E6) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.51300-73000/- per month. 
• Senior Manager(E5) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.43200-66000/-  per month. 
• Manager (E4) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.36600-62000/- per month. 
• Dy.Manager (E3) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.32900-58000/-   per month.
• Assistant Manager (E2) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.29100-54500/-  per month.
• Junior Manager(E1) - The Candidate  will have pay scale of Rs.24900 -50500/-  per month.

Age :

• Dy.General Manager (E7) - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 20 years and upper age limit shall be 52 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Assistant General Manager (E6)  - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 17 years and upper age limit shall be 50 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Senior Manager(E5)  - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 14  years  and upper age limit shall be 47 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Manager (E4)  - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 12 years and upper age limit shall be 44 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Dy.Manager (E3) - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 09 years and upper age limit shall be 42 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Assistant Manager (E2) - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 06  years and upper age limit shall be 37 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
• Junior Manager(E1) - The  minimum period of executive experience will be 03  years and upper age limit shall be 32 years of age as on 24.11.2014.
